Foundations, crisis, referrals, stigma reduction. Church leaders carry the sacred responsibility of caring for souls, but ministry today also requires wisdom in supporting mental health. Our Church Leader Mental Health Training equips pastors, nonprofit leaders, and faith communities with practical tools to respond to crisis, reduce stigma, and build healthier congregations. Through workshops, online courses, and downloadable resources, we integrate faith, counseling best practices, and pastoral care principles so you can lead with confidence, compassion, and clarity.

Subscription support for pastors & leaders. Pastors and nonprofit leaders often face difficult conversations around mental health, trauma, or crisis. With On Call Consultation, you’ll have a licensed counselor available on demand to provide professional guidance, referral support, and peace of mind; exactly when you need it. Ministry and nonprofit leadership often place you at the front line of crisis. Our On Call Consultation service provides pastors, nonprofit executives, and community leaders with confidential access to professional mental health guidance, so you never have to respond alone.
Build a safe, theologically sound, sustainable lay counseling ministry. Many churches desire to offer lay counseling but lack the structure to do it safely and sustainably. Our Counseling Ministry Planning service provides best practices, strategy, and implementation support to help churches design biblical, ethical, and effective counseling ministries. Many pastors want to help their congregations with spiritual and emotional struggles, but feel unprepared to launch a counseling ministry. Our Counseling Ministry Planning service provides church leaders with guidance, proven strategies, and hands-on consultation to design and implement a sustainable lay counseling ministry rooted in both Scripture and mental health best practices.
Leaders need help too. We help clergy and religious leaders with strategies to navigate work/life/family/ministry balance, self-care, burnout, and spiritual wellness. We understand the demands and pressures you face in your position. We also know that stigma associated with mental health can sometimes delay your decision to seek our counseling services. We understand the unique challenges that clergy face. Our counseling services integrate your spirituality into clinically responsible therapy. We help clients navigate individual, couple, and family pressures such as anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflict, and grief.
We value your privacy. If anonymity is a concern, we offer additional amenities to help protect your confidentiality. Our counselors maintain strict confidentiality with our clients. In addition, we have a few extra features available for high-profile clients.
Multiple counseling options. We offer counseling services online (telehealth) through a secure portal for greater accessibility. Currently we service Georgia residents only.
Pastors are often the first people church members turn to in times of crisis, grief, or mental health struggles. Yet clergy are rarely given formal training in counseling or crisis care. Our programs equip pastors with practical frameworks, such as pastoral triage, suicide prevention, and burnout awareness, so you can shepherd with wisdom while staying healthy yourself. With these tools, you’ll feel confident knowing when to provide care, when to set boundaries, and when to refer to professionals.
Community nonprofits carry incredible responsibility in meeting both physical and emotional needs. For directors and training coordinators, our workshops and consulting services provide faith-integrated mental health training that equips staff and volunteers to serve with sensitivity and competence. Whether your nonprofit supports families, youth, or vulnerable populations, we help your team respond with clarity, compassion, and practical resources that align with your mission.
Deacons, elders, and lay leaders are the backbone of pastoral care in many congregations. Yet many feel unprepared when faced with issues like depression, domestic violence, or caregiver burnout. Our training equips lay leaders with a simple but powerful toolkit, listening skills, crisis response frameworks, and referral pathways, so they can offer safe, biblically grounded support without overstepping their role.
Churches as a whole are called to be places of refuge and healing. When a congregation embraces mental health ministry, stigma is reduced and lives are changed. Our resources give faith communities the knowledge and confidence to support one another, whether through caregiver support groups, dementia-friendly worship services, or mental health awareness campaigns. Together, we can build a culture where faith and mental health care work hand in hand to strengthen the Body of Christ.
This event fit our ministry because, the training gave us not only mental health awareness. Awareness from a Biblical perspective. The training gave a theological and therapeutic approach. I believe all who are in leadership positions would benefit from this training. Especially on how to approach mental health issues in the Church.
We encounter different types of people and with this information we can engage on several levels, knowing the warning signs and with better understanding we can achieve greater lasting results.
Our mission is to restore the lives of individuals and families who are homeless and to prevent homelessness. Many who are homeless are experiencing mental health issues. We are now better equipped to assist those who are experiencing these challenges.
We constantly come in contact with people and this helps us to better understand how we should react to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
