Dr. Glenn is dually trained as a Pastoral Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. Her clinical training has emphasized the integration of theological and psychological theory into responsible clinical practice. Her clinical experiences range broadly from marriage and family therapy practice to college counseling with specific training that includes Adolescents, Family Systems, Crisis and Trauma, and College/Career Counseling. For five years, she served as the Director of The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia satellite counseling center at Turner Chapel A.M.E. Church in Marietta while concurrently working as a Personal Counselor to students at Georgia State University, Perimeter College (formerly known as Georgia Perimeter College). Later, served as the Director of the Hopewell Counseling Center, a ministry of Hopewell Baptist Church.

This event fit our ministry because, the training gave us not only mental health awareness. Awareness from a Biblical perspective. The training gave a theological and therapeutic approach. I believe all who are in leadership positions would benefit from this training. Especially on how to approach mental health issues in the Church.
We encounter different types of people and with this information we can engage on several levels, knowing the warning signs and with better understanding we can achieve greater lasting results.
Our mission is to restore the lives of individuals and families who are homeless and to prevent homelessness. Many who are homeless are experiencing mental health issues. We are now better equipped to assist those who are experiencing these challenges.
We constantly come in contact with people and this helps us to better understand how we should react to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
